Intense, deep inky colour with hints of violet. Nose of liquorice and dark fruits with a hint of all-spice. Full flavoured and rich yet restrained with a hint of dark chocolate, blackberries and spices. A great length with refined tannins. 100% of the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

The Terlato & Chapoutier domain is the French company’s third project in Australia, and the second domain in Victoria. Michel Chapoutier joined forces with the Terlato family (the company’s American distributor) in 2000 in the Great Western Victoria’s Pyrenees on clay- and gravel-intensive soil. Already 20 years into what has been a great adventure.
