In the mouth, the attack is soft and filling dominated by the same lively primary fruit notes. A fresh acid line and an ever-present, but super fine tannin leads through an elegant and long finish. Maturation in a combination of new and aged oak barrels for 18-24 months.

SCHILD ESTATE
Ben and Alma Schild first moved to the Barossa Valley from Lameroo in the Murray Mallee in 1952. The first vineyard that the family purchased is located up the top of Steingarten Road, near Rowland Flat, where the original homestead is still situated. The wines are typical of the Barossa Valley - warm, generous and rich.
